This week the children's lesson theme is Farm. They are learning about different animals, singing songs, and creating some art masterpieces. What better way to keep the fun going by creating some delicious food or snacks at home. Here are some fun recipes I have found.

How to Make Popcorn Corn on the Cob bags
Fill a small snack sized bag with freshly popped popcorn. Tape one side of the sealable part of the baggie to the back hide it using regular tape: Place a piece of double-sided tape near the corner of your green tissue paper. Put the baggie of popcorn over the double-sided tape: Wrap both sides of the popcorn baggie (as seen in the video). The double-sided tape keeps the bag in place. Next, twist the bottom of the tissue paper: Tie the bottom with some raffia (a hay-like wrapping string found at any craft store). Cut the excess tissue paper off the bottom: Stack the corn together and they really come to life!

No-Bake Sheep Animal Cookies Recipe
How To Make:
Ingredients: Graham cracker squares White frosting Mini marshmallows Wilton black candy melts Small candy eyes
Directions:
Clear off a work surface that you can sit at in the kitchen or at the dining room table.
Cut a large handful of mini marshmallows in half using the kitchen scissors and set aside. You want a small size marshmallow that is even smaller than the mini.
Frost each graham cracker square with white frosting. I use a knife or spoon to spread it on, but you can also put the frosting in a plastic bag and cut off the tip if you’d prefer to frost that way.
If you want to make your sheep a “black sheep” or a “brown sheep,” you could add a little food coloring to the frosting before spreading it onto each cracker. Use some kitchen scissors to gently snip the edges of the a black candy melts making almost a triangle shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but as close as you can. Place the triangle on the graham cracker to form the sheep’s head. Use a toothpick or fork tine to add a small dab of frosting (your “glue”) to the back of the sheep’s eyes. Place the eyes on the sheep’s head (as shown in photos). Lastly, take the halved mini marshmallows and place around the sheep’s head as shown in the photos. Voila! Sheep grahams!
Hope some of you will take a chance and try out some of these tasty looking treats! I am really wanting to try the No-Bake Sheep Grahams, how about you?
