Sports themed Snacks!

This week we are kicking off our spirts theme lessons. Today the children made paper plater baseball men/women, read a hockey poem and played catch. To continue you on the fun at home here are some fun and easy sports theme snacks.

PLAY BALL FRUIT CUP IDEA

Fruit cups are healthy and easy snacks, and kids will have a ball eating these sports-themed fruit cups! Oh, and did we mention how easy it is to create them? SCORE! Just take a sharpie and draw lines of different sports balls (baseball, basketball, soccer) onto the protective plastic of the fruit cups. The edge of the plastic will serve as the edge of the ball, so there's no need to draw a circle shape first. That's it! Just a few minutes of work and you've scored a snack home run!

PLAY BALL COOKIE TREAT IDEA

This is one treat you'll definitely want to keep on your snack roster. After all, who doesn't love a cream-filled chocolate cookie topped with frosting and a chocolate candy?! First, apply green frosting to the tops of the cookies and place a wrapped chocolate sports ball into the frosting. Just like that, these are ready to be served.

REFEREE WATER BOTTLE FAVOR IDEAS WITH FREE PRINTABLE

It's important to keep your team hydrated, so these Referee Water Bottles are an important part of your game plan! Take a look at how easy they are to make. Download, print and cut out the water bottle wraps. Download the free bottle wraps here! Adhere the wraps to water bottles using glue dots or tape. For an extra touch, wrap a whistle key chain around the neck of the water bottle
